The converstation that as stuck in my mind the most this week is one between Z and Grandad.
Z ‘would you like some milk Grandad?’
Grandad ‘No, I don’t like milk’
Z ‘but you have to learn to like milk Grandad. It will make you big and strong, I had to learn to like butter in ham sandwiches’
Grandad laughs a lot
Z ‘I don’t really like how you are laughing Grandad’
Little S has found a new excuse for getting out of things she doesn’t want to do.
Me ‘Can you please tidy your room?’
S ‘ No Mummy, I will get a poorly tummy if I do that’
Today started with the most explosive nappy I have ever seen and didn’t get much better. Little S has developed a scream that I can feel vibrating though my brain, Z asks for a snack every 5 minutes and Baby H keeps making a bid for freedom up the stairs. I didn’t get chance to eat more than half a muffin till 2 pm and then I found a nappy in with the washing.

I’d better not show this to Hanna or she might start using that excuse not to tidy her room……she’s always looking for one.
I love what Z said to Grandad…poor Grandad, he’s lives all these years with that laugh!
Lucky you getting the Amazon vouchers, I could do with some of them now the birthday/Xmas season is approaching!

I dread to think what excuses she’ll have when she’s older! x

Arrgh ! can’t think of anything worse than a nappy in the washing. Well, maybe a tissue, but all the little beads and bits of gel get everywhere don’t they?
I would love to win some Amazon vouchers as my children are very bored with the books in our bookcase and I could do with some cooking inspiration !! I am closing my eyes, twitching my nose, touching my toes and turning around …. fingers crossed and touching wood !

I thought the fairy hob father came and cleaned your oven. A little disappointed now as have been wishing very hard – mine needs a good scrub!! Amazon vouchers are nice too though.
