So far, I’ve been very lucky in that I don’t have any allergies apart from a mild intolerance to latex that brings out eczema on my hands, my 7 year old has a similar problem, but with citrus fruits and so far my girls are allergy/intolerance free. However that’s not always been the case.
My middle daughter suffered a serious bout of food poisoning when she was just 6 months old. She couldn’t keep any food down for 10 days, lost a huge amount of weight and was left temporarily lactose intolerant, luckily now she doesn’t have any problems with regular milk.
A2 milk won’t help if you’re lactose intolerant, but it will if you have a milk intolerance. A1 is a protein in milk that can exacerbate skin conditions, make mucus stickier and other side effects such as bloating and indigestion. A2 milk contains only A2 protein not the more troublesome A1 protein.
I’m definitely going to try A2 milk as I often find milk makes me a bit sleepy and sometimes seems to cause a re-occurance of IBS, so I wonder if A2 would help me, after all feeling sleepy at the start of the day isn’t very helpful. I’ll let you know how I get on.
For more information about lactose intolerance and milk intolerance see the A2 website or Facebook page.

Both of my children have sensitive skin and eczema I wonder if changing our milk would help their skin… I must try this.

My daughter can’t eat processed meat which can be a big thing for her when she’s out but apart from that we have no issues but it’s good to know there are products like this out there x

I really want to try A2 milk as I avoid milk – it makes me feel quite queasy, no idea why and it certainly isn’t an intolerance. Wondering if this would make a difference…

I have looked at A2 milk and wish it was about when my son was younger as we had to go onto sheeps milk.
