I’ve been downloading music from iTunes for years, but have never really thought about downloading movies to watch.
At the click of a button you can download and watch a movie wherever you are. Films can be downloaded in the same way you download music, and are available in all formats from the day of release. This is great for me, as with three such small children its not easy to get out shopping, so being able to download and watch a movie the day it comes out will be fantastic.
My lovely hubby bought me an apple TV for our anniversary ( the remote is aluminium for 10 years) which makes it super easy to stream the movies to the TV. If you don’t have Apple TV you can use an inexpensive cable to connect your computer to a compatible TV, so its still really simple.
We downloaded HOP to watch with the kids and it was lovely. Usually I’m rushing around tidying or working while they watch TV, but this time we all snuggled up on the sofa together to watch. HOP is an Easter themed, part live action and part animated comedy film. E.B is a young rabbit who is due to take over the role of the Easter Bunny from his father, Mr Bunny ( voiced by Hugh Laurie which made it a winner for me ), but E.B wants to be a drummer and runs away. Z and S loved it and both decided it would be quite cool to be the Easter Bunny, and Z would like a set of drums.
Here is the trailer if you want to find out more.

S watching HOP with her cuddly E.B from the film.
Once the kids were in bed, Rob and I sat down with our box of scrummy Marks and Spencer truffles and wine to watch ‘The Adjustment Bureau’. Also downloaded from iTunes. I’m ashamed to say I missed the end ( the wine was too nice ). So here is Robs review…
The star-crossed lovers (and that’s where all similarities to Romeo and Juliet end, the anguish wasn’t particularly intense and there was certainly no tragedy) had a fairly light hearted on/off relationship. The film was pleasant enough with a minor diversion into higher beings having a greater knowledge of a divine plan (or do they…?). Perfect to write your blogs to.
HOP is available on DVD, Blu-ray and iTunes to download (plus Xbox, PlayStation, Sky Box Office, BT Vision and BlinkBox)
We were kindly sent 3 films, childrens goody bags, and Marks and Spencer wine and chocolate.
All views and opinions are my own.
