For the last 12 months, my children have been collecting various LEGO mini figures and so LEGO® Batman Movie fever started as soon as the new mini figure range was released a few weeks ago. We haven’t managed to see the movie which was released this weekend yet, but it is on our list for half term.
Egmont kindly sent us these LEGO® Batman Movie activity books filled with exciting activities which have kept the kids very happy this weekend and will tide them over nicely till our cinema trip.
The LEGO® Batman Movie Chaos in Gotham City – activity book with exclusive mini figure
As you know we love Minifgures, so my children instantly made a beeline for this book which is filled with puzzles, colouring and drawing pages alongside exciting comic pages and an exclusive tartan Batman figure.
Priced at under £5.00 this is a great little gift for any LEGO Batman fans.
Available from Amazon here.
Inspired by the minifigure, we set up an ice excavation using a couple of March Harriets from the Batman Movie Minifigure series.
How long do you think it took my 6 year old to rescue him?
The LEGO® BATMAN MOVIE – Choose Your Super Hero Doodle Activity Book
This activity book is filled with doodles that need finishing and lots of pages with drawing and doodle inspiration ideas, such as drawing a party for Superman, a disguise for Harley Quinn or decorating the Joker’s limousine. My girls love to draw, but it tends to be lots of rabbits and pictures of themselves, so it’s been lovely to see them try something different and really use their imagination to think of things to do this lovely book justice. Once finished it will be a great keepsake of their artistic skills too!
I think this would be a brilliant book for encouraging children who don’t usually like to draw and colour to do so.
Available from Amazon here for £5.
The LEGO® BATMAN MOVIE – Ready, Steady, Stick!
I would say, who doesn’t like a sticker book, but my 9 year old has a huge aversion to them. His younger sisters however love nothing more than a good sticker book and generally find all kinds of ingenious ways to use them.
The book comes with 200 extra stickers so children have plenty to create more Batman themed scenes once they’ve finished with the book itself.
Available from Amazon here, priced at £5.99, this is another great value book that we definitely recommend.
The LEGO® BATMAN MOVIE – I Am Batman! The Dark Knight’s Activity Journal
This paper back sized Batman activity book is filled with comic storylines and drawing and writing ideas, again perfect for inspiring children who don’t usually like drawing and writing to use their imagination and get creative.
Priced at around £4 this is another great value book from Egmont.
My children have loved all these activity books, which I think make a great alternative to a magazine or a fun birthday gift for friends.
