You know when something happens that makes you step back and think, makes you realise that perhaps you should stop rushing around everywhere ALL the time, slow down and appreciate the small things?
It must be a magic crystal week – I was presented with what, at 7am looked like a bit of a stone out the playground smuggled home, but actually was a crystal with magical powers “and sharp bits” Long may imaginative play continue x
Beautiful, I love it when my girls come to me with phrases similar or I overhear them playing together as they make up their games – always lots of drama
What a lovely photo, Emma. Such a beautiful reminder of how special our little ones’ imagination is x
I love this Emma- their imagination never ceases to amaze me. Mads loves finding little treasures. x
Oh how I wish I could still have the imagination of a child, how wonderful that would be!
Aww too cute!
Their imagination is as precious as her jewel. Lovely photo and words.
aww, your kids have great imaginations Emma, they are a credit to you
xx
So cute, it’s such a fab age x
Oh that’s lovely. *lesson learned here, thank you 🙂
Aw what a lovely idea for a post, kids are just amazing beings to live with for this very reason 🙂
In fairness it does look like it has special powers!
Isn’t it wonderful when you see the world through your child’s eyes, even for just a moment? Special and magical xx
Awww. I wonder at what exact point we cease to use our imaginations and sense of wonder and play like that?

oh i love the picture and what you said. you are so right.
It’s true We sometimes miss what’s in front of us. and in doing so we lose our imaginations. Shall we have an imagination explosion of awesomeness?
Awww that is so so sweet. Pip Squeak saw some raindrops on a hedge and she said “look Mummy, the water looks like fairy lights, it is so pretty”…..
I want to be a child again. *stamps feet*
oh me too 🙂
Definitely – we’re always in such a rush, but it pays to pay attention to the children 🙂
I love this, you’re so right. It’s so wonderful to see where their imagination takes them. Thanks for linking up with Living Arrows x
