McVitie's Breakfast Biscuits are made with wholegrain porridge oats and fortified with vitamins D, B, Iron and fibre, making them a balanced and very convenient breakfast option. The oats release energy slowly to keep you sustained for longer and there are four great flavours to choose from.
Breakfast time in our house is crazy. My New Year resolution was to be more organised the night before, but somehow I still end up scrabbling round for football kits and book bags two minutes before we need to leave the house every day. I always give the children a good breakfast, but quite often don't get chance to eat myself until I get back from the school run, by which time it seems too late to start eating cereal so I end up snacking through the morning.
Today I tried the McVitie’s Breakfast biscuits with my usual post school run cup of tea and found them very satisfying. My 2 year old declared they tasted like sweets and guzzled one down as well. The Red Berries flavour is quite sweet, but I liked it. I'll definitely be picking up a box of the Sultana and Cinnamon flavour while they are on offer for just £1 in Tesco or ASDA as well, I love anything cinnamon flavoured.
Tomorrow during the manic school run I'll be sure to have a breakfast biscuit while I'm running around making packed lunches and I'm sure I'll feel much better for having something nutritious inside me.
What are your mornings like? Are you a get up early and have a leisurely breakfast person or like me and trade a calm morning for an extra half an hour in bed?
