I recently showed Z a game I used to play at school where you fold a piece of paper into three and each draw part of a person. One draws the head, one the body and one the legs, so you end up with a bit of a mismatched picture. He was a bit bemused at first but in the end we had a lot of fun making different funny people.
The principe of the Colour and Flip book from Crayola is the same. You colour in parts of people and animals and then flip the pages to mix them up. The book comes with three My First Markers and features 30 different wacky characters.
S and H spent a long time trying to make the funniest characters. I wish we’d had these for our long flight a few weeks ago, as it would’ve kept them occupied for ages!
The Colour and Flip book has an RRP of £4.99, which I think is great value for the amount of entertainment kids get from it.
My First from Crayola are a new creative range of kits and books designed to introduce the magic of colouring, drawing, sticking and designing for children 12-36 months.
