It’s that time of year when we start to reflect back on events over the last 12 months and think about who’s been naughty and who’s been nice, what’s been a success and what less so and how we want to improve next year. I have lots of New Years resolutions for next year, including getting fit! If you haven’t seen me venture out for a run in the first two weeks of the year make sure you give me a big nudge! I’m feeling very determined at the moment, so lets hope it lasts. I’d also like to start before the end of the year, so keep your fingers crossed that I magically find some time soon.
My children are pretty sure they’re on the nice list, but we will see what Santa says next week! They’ve been pretty good to be fair this year, so I’m fairly confident they will be happy on Christmas day!
I’ve been mentally creating my own Naughty and Nice list when it comes to Christmas customer service. I’ve had some companies who have been amazing and some a little less so. It really shouldn’t take half an hour searching a website to find how to request a refund..or have to print off a letter and post to them to cancel an order. Other companies have gone beyond my expectations and gifted vouchers when things have been out of stock but the order taken or made a refund or exchange service so wonderfully simple that I have ordered from them again.
BestVPN have created their own Naughty and Nice list based around the good, the bad and the Grinch like contenders when it comes to privacy this year. 2018 has been a big year when it come to privacy with new GDPR rules, and it’s really interesting to see how different countries approach online privacy. Are you surprised by anything in this unique Naughty and Nice list from BestVPN?
I have generally found the new GDPR rules to be a bit annoying, so it’s interesting to see the positive side of GDPR stated on the Nice list. I also hadn’t heard about most of the privacy scandals this year, so on the whole this infographic has been a rather eye opening read!
BestVPN also have a great competition running at the moment where you can win a 50 Inch 4K Samsung TV, wouldn’t that make a great Christmas present? The Samsung TV is a top-of-the-range model with lots of smart TV features so you can catch up on your favourite film and TV whenever you like! I’ve entered already!
I have lots of lazy Christmas TV watching planned over the festive season so a new TV would be the perfect gift for me! I’m hoping to have made the nice list, I have my faults, but I do try 🙂
What are you hoping 2019 brings? Do you have any resolutions you’re determined to keep?
Is anyone else in complete denial that it’s 2019 next year? How did that happen? I’m sure it was only 2020 last year……
Have a great Christmas everyone and don’t forget to tell me your thoughts on the infographic and enter the competition from BestVPN.
