Blogging most definitely has some big perks and one huge treat for my children both this year and last has been receiving a Playmobil advent calendar to review. There’s just something so naughty about opening every door of a calendar before Christmas.
Sydney and Hannah were so excited about the prospect that they dressed up as elves to help me out!
The Playmobil Christmas Room with Illuminating Tree Calendar is just beautiful and contains all the pieces for the perfect family Christmas scene, romantic candle light, presents under the illuminated tree, freshly baked biscuits, comfy chairs and happy pets.
Each door hides a small part of the scene and the calendar comes with a sturdy cardboard background. The quality is fantastic and as always with Playmobil I love the attention to detail and lovely little features such as an opening jewellery box.
I really love this XL Playmobil Santa too! Where would you keep him? We’ve also had the Playmobil Nativity Scene for many years now which is such a great Christmas decoration to bring out each year. I just need to buy the Three Wise Kings set to finish ours off. I do love a Playmobil Christmas!

This looks amazing! Sadly my kids are too old for Playmobil now, but my son bought himself a Lego advent calendar for a couple of years and he loved it.
