The kids, especially Z have been captivated by the Olympics, which has inspired a whole host of new games to be played. We’ve been triple jumping into the paddling pool. Long jumping through the kitchen, relay races in the garden and endless games of badminton.
Whilst playing badminton the most consectutive hits we’ve managed is 4, Z clearly blames me for this.
“Mummy, if I was playing someone as good as me, we’d hit it loads of times”
Where does he get his confidence from?
I think my son would say the same thing. It must be fun just to play with him.
It is, he he so funny!
Yes, why is it that you’re so out of practice?? 😉
hmmmm…I just don’t know!
Aawwwe bless them, they are cute!
I think so 🙂
Oooh do we have a future Olympian on our hands?!
hmmmm…he would like to think so 🙂
That is so funny!
Thanks. xx
Brilliant! Confidence is good! I have had similar Lympics conversations with my two. They think I might be good at Ginnastics apparently (!!)(they can’t say it!), but I am liking the gin-sounding part! 🙂
ooooh gin drinking competitions!
Love how the Olympics is getting everyone into sport
